Miss Carol Blandthorn

Miss Carol taught through the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) for 30 years. She holds the Teaching Certificate in Theatrical, Full Teaching Diploma in Tap and Intermediate Ballet Certificate. She is passionate about teaching dancing to all ages and has taught students from the age of 18 months to aged 75. She believes that dancing should provide enjoyment and that students can reach their full potential by commitment and practice. She has taught at various schools and really enjoyed her time teaching the little ones at Childcare Centres. Increasing her knowledge of the Performing Arts is also an important factor, and in providing a safe environment is essential for students to explore their creative potential in the Arts. She has completed her Bachelor of Education (Primary). She also has her VIT Registration, WWCC and Level 2 First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates and is a member of the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD). She also co-founded Performing Camps of Australia, with Colleen Blandthorn, which are camps held throughout the year with various choreographers, comprising all genres within the Performing Arts.

Miss Danielle Blandthorn


Miss Danielle has been teaching in all genres for 6 years. She is currently completing her teaching Examinations. She has completed a Diploma in Child Care and has her WWCC and Level 2 First Aid Certificate. Miss Danielle works as a childcare 2IC in the Western suburbs. She teaches all of the Hip Hop Classes and multiple Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Tap Classes at BPA. She performed her first Public Examination through the CSTD in 2011. She loves teaching all of the students and is inspired by seeing how the students improve during the year.

Mr David Tullberg

David began classes at the age of 15, and he was then offered a Fulltime Scholarship to the Edge Performers School. He completed a Diploma of Elite Dance Performance. David was able to work with industry professionals such as, Chantel Runting, Andrew Micallef, Donna DePaoli, Phil Haddad, Eden Reed and many others. David’s main focus in his teaching is Acrobatics, which he learned while assisting Andrew Micallef in his classes. He grew confident in teaching and quickly found work in many schools in and around Melbourne.

Miss Bianca Caccamo

Starting dance at the age of 3, Miss Bianca has been trained in all genres of dance including Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical and Ballet in which she has completed all her exams including her two major exams through the Cecchetti Ballet Association. She is now working towards attaining her Cecchetti Ballet Associate Certificate. Bianca started as an assistant for 6 years and has been teaching now for the past 2 years in Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Lyrical. She has been lucky enough to gain experience through the many opportunities that she has been a part of including, dancing in Hong Kong Disneyland, Hong Kong Walk of Fame and Hong Kong Oceana Park. Miss Bianca also danced with the Tap Dogs and trained with the Australian Ballet Company, which has further expanded her knowledge of dance. Bianca is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and has a WWCC. Bianca has a passionate love for dance and finds joy in helping and watching her students grow and learn throughout the year. 

Lydia Cagney Morris has been involved in dance for 43 years starting her early dance training in the R.A.D Ballet syllabus in Ulverstone, Tasmania. Moving to Victoria in 1977, Lydia then studied the Cecchetti Ballet method and the Imperial Society Teachers of Dance (ISTD) syllabus in Tap, Modern and National Dance. Lydia has a Bachelor of Arts in Performance Studies (Dance-Drama) from Victoria University of Technology and is a qualified teacher with the Cecchetti Society of Australia. She has gained her Cecchetti Associate, Associate Diploma & Licentiate status examinations and in 2016 completed her Licentiate Diploma. She is currently studying for her final qualification the Fellowship examination.                                                                             
Lydia has been published in Dancetrain Magazine and presented at various dance and fitness conferences worldwide. Lydia is a member of Cecchetti Australia, AUSDANCE, I.S.T.D (UK), Dance Therapy Australia (DTA) and I.A.D.M.S (International Association of Dance Medicine and Science). Lydia has been the Victorian organiser of the Victorian Cecchetti Choreographic Competition since 2003. She adjudicated dance,speech and drama for the past nineteen years all over Australia and New Zealand. In 2018 Lydia completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and has a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management-CUA50311.
Lydia is Principal of Bayside Ballet Academy in Beaumaris and has been a freelance teacher around Melbourne for many years.
